
Lina Safa, Ed.D., MPA, MAIR
Dr. Lina Safa was born in Beirut, Lebanon, and is now based in Los Angeles. She is dedicated to advancing cross-cultural understanding, academic excellence, and transformative leadership. With a doctorate in Organizational Leadership and more than 20 years of experience in higher education, research, consulting, and leadership development, she brings deep expertise in building global partnerships and bridging communities.
Dr. Safa serves as Research and Grants Manager of the Center for Global Partnerships and Learning at Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education & Psychology, where she leads strategic research initiatives, grant development, and international collaborations that align scholarship with community impact. Beyond academia, she has served as a forensic language consultant, interpreter, and policy advisor, supporting legal, diplomatic, and humanitarian cases, including advocacy for asylum seekers.
Multilingual in Arabic, English, and French, and deeply rooted in her Lebanese heritage, Dr. Safa is committed to strengthening cultural ties between Beirut and Los Angeles. Her work reflects a lifelong dedication to inclusive leadership, equality of opportunity, and globally connected communities.
